I first visited the famous Amalfi Coast in April 2013. It was a magical experience. My friend and I jokingly called it our “honeymoon.” I deemed Positano my FAVORITE city out of everywhere I traveled during a semester abroad in Prague, Czech Republic.
My experience this go-round was different. My family and I rented a beautiful airBNB on the coast of Praiano, Positano’s neighbor. Check out the views below! I probably burned more calories in this city than anywhere else, because it was a hike to get in and out of our airBNB everyday. Worth it though? Totally. Would I travel to Italy (or anywhere in Europe) again during the month of July? Probably not. The tourist crowds and insane heat did not lend themselves to the same magical experience I had in the spring. But, this coastline is insanely beautiful always. So lucky to have had the chance to come back with my whole family in tow 🙂
